As the head of the Cooperation Department, responsibility mainly considers the –
- Handling of major questions and policy
- All-round development of Cooperative Movement and administration of M.C.S.Act.
- Functions relating to registration, approval of bye-laws, amendment, audit, inspection,
supervision, supersession of managing committees, appointment of administrators,
liquidators, winding up of cooperative institutions.
- To implement statutory, regulatory, developmental, educative and supervisory role
in respect of Cooperative Movement in the State by way of keeping alive the hopes
of the common people through healthy and wholesome growth of Cooperative Movement.
